Sawa Sawa Dhow Excursions: Ahoy There!

Sawa Sawa is an authentic Mozambique dhow, hand built with teak and other hard wood, based in Malindi, moving between Che Shale Hotel, Malindi and Mida Creek. It is spacious and has been carefully outfitted with comfortable seating, ample shade, storage for your bags, life jackets and snorkeling gear. From mid-July through October it can be found in Malindi, sailing down to the beautiful sandbars of Mayungu. Sawa Sawa dhow excursions are superb for groups and with family.

From October through April, it moves up to Che Shale below Ngomeni. Enjoy a seafood feast cooked up onboard by the crew whilst you enjoy the crystal clear waters that Mayungu has to offer. Drinks and grilled seafood lunch, snorkelling at the Malindi Marine Park, with a sunset cruise rounding up the perfect sailing trip. Trips can be for a few hours or enjoy a full day excursion. For information, pricing and reservation you can get in touch with the Che Shale Hotel via 0722 230 931.
