One of the establishments trump-card is the raised wooden deck, peering out to the large watering hole at the front, which provides an indulgent wildlife watching experience, blending sustainability. About its pristine forests are trails perfect for exploring the Aberdare ecosystem to include Twin Rocks and Dragon’s Teeth en route Satima Peak. For a truly thrilling experience, Cedar Retreat offer horse riding through pristine areas of the forest and moorland. Evenings are magical, too, with opportunities for bonfires and stargazing in the clear alpine skies. From Ndaragwa Centre it is 31 km to the resort through Shamata. A sturdy 4×4 vehicle is essential.
