It is also a peaceful and spiritual place to pray, meditate and re-energize. Among the popular experiences here include walking trips to either of two higher points within Kakamega Forest, at Lirhanda Hill (south) or Bunyangu Hill (north).
It is this peaceful environment, sacred-like, which makes it an ideal location for spiritual retreats or personal reflection. For many years now, it has been a haven for spiritual reflection, prayer, and meditation. Rondo Retreat features colonial-style cottages with comfortable, cozy rooms. Each room is uniquely decorated and designed for relaxation, offering views of the surrounding forest.
