Situated just 10 km north of Nyamira town, near Nyamira District Hospital, it is conveniently sited to be developed as a conservancy. Not countings its importance as a cultural shrine patronized for prayer and meditation, Nkoora Hill has a notable floral biosphere, warranting its elevation as a protected area. Keera Falls is at the foot of the hill to boot. One of the major issues to address, and there are many, is the urgency to securing and developing the site. A move that will surely mark up tourism here.
