Kitale Club: A Cherished Colonial Heritage
Founded in 1924, as an 18-holf golf course that measures 6,990 yards with a par 73, it was among the foremost courses of the 36 golf clubs in Kenya. Aside from its surpassing greens and beautiful surrounding landscape, Kitale Golf Club is also well-known for the variety of monkeys that marshal its fairways. It plays host to numerous top-rate tournaments like the Chairman’s Putter, Kenya Seed Classic Tournament and Kitale Tournament. It is located along the B2 Kitale-Eldoret Road.
