Tucked in the northern sector of Tsavo East National Park 30 minutes drive from Mtito Andei Gate, along the banks of the Galana River. Tsavo Safari Camp feels like being in the middle of an oases! Guided game walks are done in company with armed rangers along the river or up the Yatta Plateau. Breakfast on the banks of Galani, watching the pod of hippopotami wallowing a short distance upriver and the wonderful sight of Karibou Storks para-gliding in to investigate a kill, is mesmerizing. Tsavo Safari Camp has its own safari vehicles for drives in the Tsavos and along the Athi towards Lugard Falls for sightseeing and game viewing.
