The center of interest is a large natural pool below the modest block waterfalls, known as Kathiri or Gathiri, which creates a stunning backdrop. It is a great place to unwind, with many quirky yet useful amenities like swings at the waters’ edge, hammocks, picnic benches, garden chairs and a rough-and-ready multi-purpose raised net. There’s plenty to do here, including swimming and water games. At hand, a series of rapids and smaller falls make for amazing riverine walks. Visitors to Outdoorman Cabins can brings their own camping gear, rent one, or stay at one of their rustic candy-coloured tiny A-frame huts. Each tiny hut, raised about a foot off the ground, is equipped with a comfortable mattress. Beddings and linen are provided. As a precaution you can carry extra and dress for the cold chilly evenings. The restrooms are clean, with hot water available 24/7 – a rarity for many campsites! Other amenities include; on-site catering, a fire pit, picnic tables, and a spacious area for parking. For the self-catering campers, there are a handful of shopping centers and towns from where they can get enough supplies.
